Experience with cryosurgery (freezing) method in the treatment of oral mucocele

I have a constantly recurring transparent salivary gland cyst (mucocele) on my lower lip. My doctor said he could remove it by freezing it with seamless cryosurgery.

Cryosurgery is a wonderful seamless and bloodless method that uses liquid nitrogen gas to freeze and necrose pathological tissue in a controlled manner. It is very successful, especially in lip mucoceles, in terms of leaving no surgical scars and having a low recurrence rate.
