For the last few weeks, when I wake up in the morning, I have an intense iron/blood taste in my mouth and when I spit it out, it comes out red. What could be the reason?

Spontaneous gingival bleeding may be a sign of advanced subgingival tartar accumulation or necrotizing periodontal infection. If you grind your teeth at night, bleeding may increase with pressure. Get examined by a gum specialist without wasting any time.
