The transparent rubber bands around the brackets turned yellow when I ate the curry sauce. There are 2 weeks until the appointment. How can they be cleaned?

I ate chicken curry yesterday and my clear ligature elastics literally turned phosphorescent yellow! I brushed it but it doesn't come off. My appointment is in 15 days, can they come early and just change the tires?
