Rules to be considered after sinus lifting surgery

I had open sinus lift and bone powder surgery so that an implant could be placed in the upper back molar area. My doctor said blowing my nose is strictly prohibited. What should I do when I sneeze?

The sinus membrane (Schneider membrane) is a millimeter-thin membrane and bone powder is placed underneath it. Clogging the nostrils and blowing your nose violently or sneezing with a closed mouth can increase intrasinus pressure, rupture this membrane and cause the bone graft to escape into the sinus. When sneezing, open your mouth wide to relieve the pressure from your mouth, do not use straws and postpone your flight for 15 days.
