I want to have sapphire brackets placed on my front teeth instead of metal to make them look aesthetically pleasing. But I drink 2-3 cups of filter coffee and tea a day. Do the sapphire brackets themselves stain and turn yellow, or do they remain clean?

It is a correct determination. The sapphire bracket body is resistant to chemical discoloration. The yellowing part is the elastic ligatures surrounding the bracket. Rinsing the mouth with water immediately after consuming coffee and tea and choosing Teflon-coated white ligature wires instead of colorless elastics completely solves this aesthetic problem.
