My 7-year-old daughter's lower jaw closes in front of her upper jaw (Reverse Bite).

My daughter occupies her lower teeth in front of her upper teeth. Can it get better at this age without jaw surgery?

Go to an orthodontist immediately, you are just at the age for intervention! Our son had it too, he had "Face Mask (Reverse Headgear)" treatment when he was 8 years old. They pulled the upper jaw forward and in 8 months the lower jaw remained behind, we survived without surgery.

For Class III (skeletal lower jaw protrusion or upper jaw retardation) anomalies, the "golden age" is between the ages of 7 and 9. During this period, by taking advantage of the growth spurt, the maxilla (upper jaw) can be directed forward with a face mask and maxillary expansion protocol, and double chin surgery that may be required in adulthood can be prevented.
