Mijn tand, die een wortelkanaalbehandeling nodig had, abces, de dokter gaf me amoxicilline. Ik heb 2 dagen gedronken. Wanneer zal de zwelling afnemen?

Antibiotica bereiken binnen 48-72 uur effectieve concentraties in het bloed. Het verdwijnen van de zwelling en de regressie van de ontsteking worden duidelijk na de derde dag. De echte behandeling bestaat echter niet uit antibiotica, maar uit uw arts die de tand opent en het kanaal schoonmaakt of leegmaakt.
