Those who have masseter botox applied to the jaw joint: Jaw pain and facial thinning

I wake up in the morning feeling like my temples are going to explode from grinding my teeth. Are those who have masseter botox satisfied? Is there any loss in chewing?

Masseter botox relieves the destructive load on the joint by temporarily blocking the excessive contraction force of the hypertrophic masticatory muscle. It does not impair the chewing function, but it may cause mild fatigue in the first 2 weeks when eating hard foods such as meat. When combined with an occlusal night plate, the success rate is very high.
