Impacted canine tooth exposure surgery and bracket bonding

My canine tooth, which is buried in my palate, will be exposed through surgery and a bracket will be placed on it. Is it done with local anesthesia?

Yes, it is an extremely comfortable procedure that is routinely performed under local anesthesia in approximately 20-30 minutes. The gum on the tooth is opened, a tiny button/bracket is attached, and its end is tied to the main arch with a wire and pulled into place through the palate with controlled force.
