My experience with Gummy Smile (excessive exposure of gums when smiling) and laser gingivectomy

When I smiled, my upper gums were visible by 4-5 mm and my teeth were very short. Yesterday, my doctor performed a laser gingivectomy (gum size adjustment). It was over in 25 minutes, there wasn't even any bleeding. My smile has changed so much I can't believe it!

Good luck! I had it done 1 year ago. I used to cover my mouth and laugh in the photos, but now I laugh to my heart's content. The healing process is also very fast.

Since laser-assisted gingivectomy and gingivoplasty procedures cut the tissue by coagulating it, bleeding is minimal during and after the procedure. With correct planning, paying attention to the biological width, the ideal golden ratio is achieved by extending the length of the teeth and the probability of recurrence is quite low.
