Those using full palate prosthesis: Adjustment process and use of adhesive cream

My father just got a full palate prosthesis, his tongue gets tangled when he talks and he feels like he's about to fall out.

In full dentures, the first 2-3 weeks are the adaptation process in which the tongue and cheek muscles learn to hold the prosthesis. Reading audio books improves speech very quickly. A small amount of Corega cream supports retention during the healing period.
