What causes limitation in mouth opening after zygoma fracture?

I got hit on my cheekbone and I can't open my mouth fully. Should the dentist see the surgeon?

When the zygoma (cheekbone) arch breaks and collapses inwards, it puts mechanical pressure (trismus) on the coronoid process and chewing muscles that pass just underneath it. When an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon reduces the fracture under tomography guidance, mouth opening immediately returns to normal.
