What to do urgently when the bracket breaks or the wire starts to sink from behind?

While I was brushing last night, the bracket on my right rear molar started to slip on the wire. It didn't fall off completely, but it's not stuck to the tooth and the tip of the wire is stinging my cheek badly. My doctor's clinic is closed until Monday. Can I do something urgent on the weekend?

Now make a big ball of orthodontic wax and stick it on that sinking wire and broken bracket! If you do not have wax, ask for orthodontic wax from the pharmacy immediately. You'll stop stinging completely and be comfortable until Monday.

Do not try to pull the broken bracket off the wire, as you may damage the form of the wire. If the wire cuts your cheek very deep and you cannot stop despite the wax, you can thoroughly disinfect the nail clippers with cologne and carefully cut off the tiny excess tip that stings, but the safest thing is to cover it with plenty of wax and go to your doctor.

In the first months, I cracked hazelnuts while eating them, and got by with cotton and candle until Monday. Don't worry, they stick it back in 5 minutes during your appointment.
